CEN KAOS SILVER BULLET SPIKED WHEEL LUGS – M2.5 – 40PCS – CKD0612
The CEN Racing CKD0612 KAOS Silver Bullet Spiked Wheel Lug Set is a scale wheel-hardware upgrade for compatible CEN F-450 wheels. CEN specifies this kit as 40 silver-plated bullet-style spiked lugs with M2.5 studs and includes a dedicated 2.5mm socket adapter tool for installation and removal.

VERIFIED CEN SPECIFICATIONS
- Manufacturer: CEN Racing
- Part Number: CKD0612
- Series: KAOS
- Style: Bullet Spiked Wheel Lugs
- Finish: Silver Plated
- Stud Size: M2.5
- Quantity: 40 lugs
- Included Tool: 2.5mm socket adapter
- Primary Application: CEN F-450 wheels using the M2.5 lug system
CRITICAL FITMENT NOTE
CEN explicitly states that CKD0612 is for compatible F-450 wheels and does not fit the stock KG1 wheels on the F-250. CEN identifies the F-250 KG1 wheel hardware as a different M2 system using part number CKD0618. Do not force CKD0612 into an incompatible wheel interface.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
- 40x Silver-Plated Bullet Spiked Wheel Lugs
- 1x 2.5mm Socket Adapter Tool
INSTALLATION APPROACH
These are small threaded scale-hardware components. Correct installation depends on clean thread engagement and alignment, not excessive tightening force. Start each lug squarely and confirm that the M2.5 threads engage smoothly before final snugging.
- Confirm the wheel uses the compatible M2.5 lug system.
- Inspect stud holes for debris, damaged threads or cross-threading.
- Start each lug straight; do not force one that immediately resists.
- Use the supplied 2.5mm socket adapter for controlled installation.
- Tighten progressively and evenly around the wheel.
- Stop once seated; do not overtighten miniature threaded hardware.
- Recheck the lugs after the first driving session.

THREAD CARE & CROSS-THREAD PREVENTION
M2.5 threads can be damaged quickly if a lug is started at an angle. If a lug does not begin smoothly, remove it and inspect the wheel-side threads instead of increasing torque. Cross-threading can damage the wheel interface and make later servicing difficult.
SPIKE CLEARANCE
The bullet/spike profile extends outward beyond a conventional scale lug. After installation, verify clearance to suspension links, steering components, bodywork and neighboring dually-wheel hardware where applicable. The spike profile should remain decorative and must not contact moving components.

DUALLY INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS
On F-450 dually setups, inspect both inner and outer wheel areas after fitting the lugs. Rotate the assembly slowly and verify that spike tips, caps, hubs and neighboring wheel hardware maintain adequate clearance throughout one full revolution.
SILVER VS. BLACK
CKD0612 is the silver-plated version. CEN catalogs CKD0610 as the corresponding black M2.5 bullet spiked lug kit. Both belong to the same general F-450 hardware family, but each SKU should still be matched to the intended wheel application.

COMMON INSTALLATION PROBLEMS
- Lug will not start: likely misalignment, incompatible wheel interface or damaged threads.
- Lug loosens repeatedly: inspect thread condition and seating rather than simply tightening harder.
- Visible wobble: may indicate the lug is not seated squarely.
- Spike contact: requires clearance correction before running the truck.
- Tool slips: inspect the lug head and socket for damage or contamination.

FINISH CARE
Use mild, non-abrasive cleaning methods on the silver-plated finish. Avoid gripping the spike bodies with pliers during normal service because tool marks can damage the visible finish and deform the narrow profile. Use the supplied socket adapter instead.
WHAT CEN DOES NOT PUBLISH
CEN confirms the M2.5 stud size, 40-piece quantity, silver-plated finish, included 2.5mm socket adapter and F-450 wheel application, but does not publish a torque specification, spike length, individual lug weight, base material grade or plating thickness for CKD0612. GASHEAD RC does not invent those values.
GASHEAD RC NOTE
CKD0612 is both a cosmetic detail upgrade and threaded wheel hardware. The best result comes from correct M2.5 fitment, square thread engagement and restraint during tightening. If the truck uses stock F-250 KG1 wheels, use the hardware system specified for those wheels rather than forcing CKD0612.
