FULL-SIZE MONSTER JAM ATTITUDE ON A TRUE 1/8-SCALE SOLID-AXLE 4X4 PLATFORM.

The Losi LMT 2.0 1/8 4X4 Brushless Monster Truck RTR is built around the architecture that makes a real monster truck behave like a monster truck: solid axles, four-link suspension, eight shocks, a tall scale stance and serious brushless power. Choose the officially licensed Grave Digger or Son-uva Digger body, then select either the truck by itself or the GASHEAD RC w/our battery pkg option.

SPEKTRUM DRIVE TECHNOLOGY & FREESTYLE MODE

The LMT 2.0 uses a Spektrum 6-channel receiver with DRIVE (Dynamic Response Intelligent Vehicle Envelope) technology. Three pre-programmed drive modes can be selected from the DX3 transmitter. Freestyle Mode is designed to assist with monster-truck maneuvers such as longer wheelies, stoppies and two-wheel bicycle driving, while the standard driving modes keep the truck usable for racing, bashing and general driving.

The included Spektrum DX3 Smart DSMR transmitter also provides throttle limiting. Newer drivers can reduce maximum output while learning the truck before moving to full power.

2S-4S SPEKTRUM FIRMA BRUSHLESS POWER

A Spektrum Firma 3668 2800Kv 4-pole brushless motor with 5 mm shaft is paired with a Spektrum Firma 130A Black Edition Smart ESC. The system supports 2S, 3S and 4S LiPo power through an IC5 connector. Losi lists the platform at 45+ mph capability with the appropriate battery, gearing, surface and conditions.

This is a heavy, high-output solid-axle truck. Battery choice changes the personality significantly: 3S provides a strong all-around setup for general driving and freestyle practice, while 4S delivers substantially more acceleration and drivetrain load.

GASHEAD RC “W/OUR BATTERY PKG” OPTION

Select w/our battery pkg with either Grave Digger or Son-uva Digger to receive a practical starter power package assembled from products stocked by GASHEAD RC:

• 1x 3S 5200mAh 11.1V 50C LiPo battery with EC5 connector
• 1x B3 20W basic 2S/3S LiPo balance charger

The LMT 2.0 uses an IC5 connector. The included EC5 battery connector in our package is physically and electrically compatible with IC5 for normal power operation. This is intentionally a basic, value-oriented charging package, not a high-output Smart charging system. The B3 20W is best suited to straightforward balance charging and will charge a 5200mAh pack more slowly than higher-wattage chargers.

Truck Only selections do not include a drive battery or charger.

6061-T6 ALUMINUM TWIN-PLATE CHASSIS

The LMT 2.0 uses twin vertical 6061-T6 aluminum chassis plates for rigidity and durability. Grave Digger receives green powder-coated plates; Son-uva Digger uses blue. The layout closely follows the visual structure of a full-size monster truck while protecting the electronics and creating a rigid center structure for hard landings.

STRONGER TWO-PIECE SOLID AXLES

Front and rear solid axle housings use a redesigned two-piece construction. Revised lower four-link mounts provide more material and wider mounting support, while larger 6x15x5 mm pinion bearings improve pinion support. The drivetrain uses HD 1/8-scale differentials, and the center differential incorporates a torque-dampening Cush Drive elastomer to absorb impact loads from the motor and hard landings.

EIGHT SCALE-STYLE SHOCKS

The LMT 2.0 runs eight oil-filled shocks, matching the visual layout of full-size Monster Jam trucks. The springs are internal rather than wrapped around the outside of the shock bodies, and molded replica reservoirs add scale detail without sacrificing the suspension travel needed for jumping and freestyle driving.

SPEKTRUM S680 STEEL-GEAR STEERING

Steering is handled by a Spektrum S680 high-torque servo with metal top, steel gears and 25T spline. A dual-step helical servo saver with Belleville springs is designed to absorb sudden impact loads while keeping steering response precise.

OFFICIALLY LICENSED BKT TIRES & 2.6-INCH WHEELS

Wider-offset 2.6-inch wheels use removable replica beadlock details and officially licensed BKT monster-truck tires. The chevron tread is more scale-accurate and less aggressive than the previous LMT tire design, helping the truck behave more predictably across dirt, carpet, pavement and other suitable driving surfaces.

FLIP-FORWARD COMPOSITE CAGE

The composite cage flips forward for faster battery access and secures back to the chassis with a twist-lock arrangement. An elastomer battery mounting system accommodates a useful range of compatible packs while holding them securely during jumps and rollovers.

GASHEAD RC SETUP NOTES

• Use the DX3 throttle limiter while getting familiar with the truck's weight, steering and wheelie tendency.
• Check wheel nuts, suspension links, steering hardware and axle fasteners after hard freestyle sessions.
• Inspect the truck after large jumps and repeated rollovers before continuing.
• Charge LiPo batteries on a suitable fire-resistant surface and never leave a charging LiPo unattended.
• The included B3 in our package is a basic 20W balance charger; customers wanting faster charging or Smart telemetry should consider a higher-output charger.

GASHEAD RC VERDICT: The LMT 2.0 is for drivers who want authentic solid-axle Monster Jam behavior rather than a conventional independent-suspension monster truck under a licensed shell.
