The Armageddon FMX is a professionally pre-assembled 1/14-scale 8x8 hydraulic dump truck engineered for demanding scale construction work. Its European-style cab, metal drivetrain, two-speed transmission, hydraulic dump system and heavy-duty 8x8 chassis are designed to move real loose material such as gravel, sand, soil, snow and wood chips.

Hydraulic & Drive System

The dump mechanism is powered by a micro hydraulic pump driven by a 270KV brushless motor, while vehicle propulsion uses a brushed drive motor. The two-speed transmission provides a 1:64 first gear and 1:16 second gear for realistic low-speed hauling and higher transit speed.

Replacement & Optional Parts

Manufacturer-supported service items include the VVV-S0090 hydraulic pump/motor/ESC assembly, VVV-S0061 King of the Road tires, VVV-S0011 brushed ESC and VVV-S0069 hydraulic connector. Optional upgrades include Z-E0035 Twister servo, several 1.7-inch commercial semi-truck tire options and the VVV-S0175 faux fuel/air tank assembly.

Critical Operating Notes

• Do not use more than a 3S / 11.1V battery.
• Turn on the transmitter before starting the truck ESC.
• When the dump reaches maximum height, stop hydraulic input immediately. RC4WD specifically warns not to hold it at full extension for more than approximately two seconds because excessive pressure can damage the hydraulic tubing.
• Never pull the automatic rear gate open by hand; doing so can damage its locking mechanism.
• Inspect hardware after shipping and periodically during operation.
• Use thread lock sparingly on metal-to-metal fasteners and do not over-tighten screws.
• This machine is intended for experienced RC hobbyists and is not recommended for users under 16.

GASHEAD RC Owner Note

The Armageddon is a working hydraulic hauler, so payload management matters. Treat 15 kg / 33 lb as the manufacturer's recommended working payload rather than a target to exceed. After shipping, inspect axle hardware, driveshafts, suspension fasteners, hydraulic connections and dump-body pivots before loading the truck. Keep the automatic tailgate unobstructed and avoid holding the cylinder against its mechanical limit.
