The RC4WD VVV-S0090 Mini Hydraulic Oil Pump is a compact hydraulic power unit for RC heavy-machinery applications. It combines a pre-installed hydraulic pump, a 280KV brushless motor, electronic speed control and M5-to-M4 hydraulic nozzles in one assembly intended for systems where packaging space is limited but controlled hydraulic pressure and flow are still required.

WHAT THE PRESSURE NUMBERS MEAN
The published 3.5–4.5MPa rated-pressure range is the appropriate operating reference for the pump itself, while the listed 8MPa maximum oil pressure should not be interpreted as a target system setting. A complete hydraulic circuit also includes tubing, fittings, valves, cylinders and pressure-control hardware, and the safe operating limit is determined by the lowest-rated component in that entire circuit.

FLOW & ACTUATOR SPEED
RC4WD publishes a maximum flow figure of 420ml/min. Flow rate influences actuator speed, while pressure determines how much hydraulic force the cylinder can generate. In use, the final movement speed will also depend on cylinder bore, system restriction, oil temperature, valve opening and motor command. Do not assume the published maximum flow will be seen continuously under every operating condition.

HYDRAULIC OIL & SYSTEM MATCHING
RC4WD pairs its heavy-machinery hydraulic systems with AW ISO 32 hydraulic oil. When replacing a pump, confirm oil type, tubing size, fitting thread, operating voltage and the system's pressure-relief strategy before installation. Mixing incompatible fittings or operating above the limits of downstream components can create leaks, hose failures or damage to valves and cylinders.

INSTALLATION & STARTUP CHECKLIST
- Confirm system voltage is within the 7.4–12.6V motor specification.
- Verify polarity and ESC signal wiring before applying power.
- Confirm M5-to-M4 nozzle and tubing compatibility before filling the system.
- Use clean hydraulic oil and keep open fittings capped during installation.
- Prime the pump and remove trapped air before applying heavy load.
- Check all fittings for seepage at low pressure first.

- Keep the pump and ESC away from moving linkages and protect wiring from abrasion.

SERVICE CONSIDERATIONS
Noise, aerated oil, inconsistent cylinder speed or a sudden drop in hydraulic force can point to air ingestion, restricted plumbing, low oil level, worn pump components, loose fittings or an electrical supply problem. Diagnose the complete circuit instead of assuming the pump is automatically at fault.
GASHEAD RC NOTE
This is a compact but serious hydraulic power unit. The published 3.5–4.5MPa working range, 420ml/min maximum flow and 280KV brushless drive make it capable of real work in scale machinery, but the system only performs as well as the plumbing around it. Keep the oil clean, control pressure properly, route hoses without kinks and treat the 8MPa figure as an absolute pump specification—not a normal operating target.
