FUNCTIONAL BEADLOCK CONSTRUCTION

A correctly assembled beadlock mechanically captures the tire bead, allowing compatible tires to be installed without permanent tire glue. This makes tire and foam changes practical and keeps the visible scale hardware as part of the wheel's full-size appearance. The aluminum construction also adds rotating and unsprung mass compared with many plastic wheels; gearing, motor temperature and driving style should still be monitored on a specific build.

The negative offset affects stance and component clearance. Do not assume that every standard 12 mm hex installation will clear steering knuckles, portals, suspension links or bodywork. Check the complete steering and suspension cycle before operation.

TIRE COMPATIBILITY

RC4WD shows Z-W0196 installed with RC4WD Mickey Thompson 2.2-inch Baja Claw TTC Scale Tires, Z-T0065, as an example. Those tires are not included. RC4WD states that its own wheels and tires are designed to work together, but it does not guarantee every cross-brand wheel-and-tire combination because bead profiles and construction methods vary.

For certain Pro-Line 2.2-inch tire applications, RC4WD lists the Z-S1341 Pro-Line Tire Compatible Internal Beadlock Rings as an optional part. Confirm the exact tire model and ring requirement before assembly.

VEHICLE FITMENT AND REQUIRED ADAPTERS
