CKD0495 – KAOS RED CANDY APPLE BUMPER SET (FRONT/REAR) – F250 / F450

The CEN Racing CKD0495 KAOS Red Candy Apple Bumper Set is a front-and-rear color bumper set for the CEN Ford F-250 and F-450. CEN officially lists CKD0495 as a set of front and rear Red Candy Apple bumpers and specifies an important F-450 fitment requirement: the F-450 mounting bracket is not included, and the CD0450 black bumper kit must be purchased separately for F-450 installation.

F250 / F450 FITMENT

CEN explicitly states that CKD0495 fits the F250 or F450. For the F-450, CEN also explicitly states that the bumper set does not include the required mounting bracket and that the CD0450 black bumper kit must be purchased separately. RC Hop Up Parts and Vortex Hobbies independently corroborate the same F-450 requirement.

PACKAGE CONFIGURATION

CEN describes CKD0495 as a set of front and rear Red Candy Apple bumpers. RC Hop Up Parts further lists the package as containing one front bumper and one rear bumper. GASHEAD RC does not add unverified screws, brackets or extra hardware to the package contents.

FUNCTION & USE

This set replaces the corresponding front and rear bumper pieces with Red Candy Apple components, allowing the truck's exterior treatment to match or complement other red body and accessory parts. GASHEAD RC does not claim increased impact protection, rigidity, strength or durability because CEN does not publish comparative engineering data for CKD0495.

INSTALLATION NOTES

  • Confirm the truck is a CEN F-250 or F-450 before installation.
  • For F-450 installation, obtain and verify the required CD0450 bumper kit / mounting bracket before beginning installation.
  • Inspect front and rear bumper mounting points for damage, distortion or stripped threads.
  • Start all fasteners by hand and align each bumper before final tightening.
  • Check front tire and steering clearance at full lock after installation.
  • Recheck bumper hardware after the first driving sessions and after significant front- or rear-end impacts.
