CKM0102 – KAOS FORD PUMA PERFORMANCE SPRINGS
The CEN Racing CKM0102 KAOS Performance Springs are an optional suspension-tuning spring package for the CEN Ford M-Sport Puma Rally 1. CEN specifies that CKM0102 includes one set of soft springs and one set of hard springs, giving the driver two spring-rate options for chassis setup.

CONFIRMED PRODUCT DETAILS
- Manufacturer: CEN Racing
- Product line: KAOS
- Part number / SKU: CKM0102
- Product type: Performance shock-spring set
- Application: CEN Ford M-Sport Puma Rally 1
- Included spring options: One soft spring set + one hard spring set
SPRING-RATE TUNING
Shock springs are a primary suspension-tuning component because they determine how much force is required to compress the suspension. A softer spring generally allows more suspension movement and chassis compliance, while a harder spring generally resists compression more strongly and can reduce chassis movement under load. The actual handling result depends on shock oil, preload, ride height, tires, surface grip, vehicle weight and driving style.
SOFT VS. HARD SETUP
The two supplied spring options let the driver experiment with suspension balance without changing the shock body or damper itself. A softer setup may be useful when additional mechanical compliance is desired, while a harder setup may be preferred when greater resistance to chassis movement is needed. GASHEAD RC does not state a specific lap-time, grip, body-roll or jump-landing improvement because CEN does not publish quantified performance data for CKM0102.
COMPATIBILITY
CEN lists CKM0102 in both its KAOS Rally 1 Upgrades range and its M-Sport Puma parts catalog. Verify the CKM0102 part number against your vehicle before installation, especially if the shocks, spring retainers, shock collars or suspension components have been changed from the original configuration.
INSTALLATION & SETUP NOTES
- Install matching spring rates as a balanced pair on the same axle unless intentionally testing a specialized setup.
- After changing springs, reset and verify ride height and spring preload.
- Check that each spring seats correctly in the upper and lower spring retainers.
- Cycle the suspension through its usable range and confirm the spring does not bind or become unseated.
- Change one setup variable at a time when evaluating handling differences so the effect of spring rate can be judged more accurately.
PACKAGE CONTENTS
Confirmed by CEN: one set of soft springs and one set of hard springs. CEN's current public product page does not state the exact individual spring count per set, so GASHEAD RC does not publish an unverified piece quantity.
MANUFACTURER DATA NOT PUBLISHED
CEN's current CKM0102 listing does not publish spring rates, wire diameter, coil count, free length, installed length, spring material, heat treatment, finish specification, individual spring weight or a recommended front/rear spring-rate chart. Those values are intentionally not estimated or invented.
Manufacturer application and package configuration reviewed against CEN Racing's official CKM0102 product page and KAOS Rally 1 parts catalog. Product specifications and packaging may be revised by the manufacturer without notice.
