The Kyosho KB10L 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Electric Lime 1/10 4WD Brushless Readyset pairs a display-quality licensed pickup body with a long-wheelbase, shaft-driven off-road chassis. This is not a low-speed crawler: the TORX10L brushless system is engineered for fast dirt, pavement and rough-road driving, with Kyosho quoting approximately 75 km/h on a compatible 3S LiPo under suitable conditions.

The chassis and radio system arrive fully assembled. Select the no-battery version and add your own 2S–3S LiPo and charger, or choose the GASHEAD RC battery bundle.

OFFICIALLY LICENSED 2021 TOYOTA TACOMA TRD PRO

Kyosho reproduces the third-generation Tacoma TRD Pro with the correct wide pickup proportions, aggressive grille, hood scoop, cargo bed and detailed light housings. The factory-painted Electric Lime body uses 1.5 mm polycarbonate for a balance of sharp molded detail, low mass and impact resistance.

Front and rear body mounts secure the shell from underneath the chassis. No conventional posts or clips protrude through the hood or bed, preserving the clean appearance expected from Kyosho's Ultra Scale body work.

LONG-WHEELBASE KB10L OFF-ROAD CHASSIS

The KB10L stretches the wheelbase to 340 mm and uses shortened suspension arms to match the relatively narrow Tacoma body. The result is a stable, realistic pickup stance instead of an oversized monster-truck track width. A long aluminum main chassis supports the power system and provides the rigidity required for brushless acceleration.

The platform is derived from Kyosho's bush-basher off-road architecture and is intended for pavement, flat dirt and rough surfaces. Its long 572 mm body deserves adequate running space; this is a substantial 3.41 kg vehicle, not a parking-lot miniature.

SHAFT-DRIVEN FULL-TIME 4WD

A central propeller shaft distributes motor output to the front and rear gearboxes. Full-time four-wheel drive generates predictable traction on loose dirt and under hard acceleration. Each gearbox and the receiver are enclosed to reduce contamination from sand and debris.

Telescoping resin universal shafts are interchangeable from front to rear, simplifying spare-parts management and routine service.

THREE-DIFFERENTIAL POWER DELIVERY

The KB10L uses front, center and rear differentials rather than a rigid driveline. The center differential smooths power distribution between the axles through corners; it is factory-filled with #10000 silicone oil. Front and rear differentials use #5000 oil and contain sintered-metal four-bevel gears sized to withstand brushless power.

Differential oil can be changed to tune steering, rotation and traction. Kyosho also provides an optional path to selected steel drivetrain components derived from its larger Inferno platform.

TORX10L 2850KV BRUSHLESS MOTOR

The factory-installed TORX10L 2850Kv brushless motor provides the torque required for the large pickup body and 110 mm tires. On a compatible 3S LiPo, Kyosho rates the truck for roughly 75 km/h. A 2S battery reduces peak speed and makes the vehicle easier to manage while extending the margin against heat and impact damage.

The motor is controlled by a waterproof BRAINZ 10+ brushless ESC. Water-resistant electronics help with wet grass or damp dirt, but bearings, fasteners and driveline parts still require cleaning and drying after exposure.

OIL-FILLED SHOCKS AND ADJUSTABLE ALIGNMENT

Factory-filled oil shocks damp road feedback and are matched to the weight and long wheelbase of the KB10L. Adjustable turnbuckles on the steering and suspension allow toe and camber correction, which is important after impacts and when changing ride height or tire setup.

The drivetrain and wheel assemblies use 22 ball bearings for efficiency and durability.

SCALE WHEELS AND MULTI-SURFACE TIRES

The 110 × 47 mm tires use an all-terrain pattern designed to find grip on paved and loose surfaces while maintaining the Tacoma's realistic appearance. The wheels reproduce a full-size off-road style rather than using generic racing dishes.

LED-READY LIGHT BUCKETS

The body includes front and rear buckets for separately sold Kyosho 97054-series LED units. A complete lighting setup can use four front LEDs and two rear LEDs, or four rear LEDs when reverse lights are added. LED components are optional and not included.

BATTERY PACKAGE OPTIONS

• No Battery: add one compatible 2S–3S LiPo, LiPo balance charger and four AA transmitter batteries.
• With GASHEAD RC Battery: includes the GASHEAD RC vehicle battery bundle. A compatible charger and four AA transmitter batteries are still required unless separately stated with the selected package.

GASHEAD RC SETUP NOTES

• This is a high-speed brushless truck, not a slow crawler. Use a large, open area with no pedestrians or parked vehicles.
• Begin on 2S or reduced throttle before moving to the quoted 3S performance level.
• Confirm steering endpoints and inspect wheel nuts, driveshafts and suspension hardware before every high-speed session.
• Monitor motor and ESC temperatures, particularly in tall grass, hot weather or with repeated acceleration runs.
• Clean and dry the drivetrain after dust or moisture. Sealed gearboxes reduce contamination but do not eliminate maintenance.
• Optional LED parts are sold separately.

GASHEAD RC VERDICT: The KB10L Tacoma succeeds because it does not sacrifice performance for scale appearance. It is a large, heavy and properly fast 4WD pickup with three tunable differentials, an aluminum chassis and one of Kyosho's best-looking licensed truck bodies.
