The RC4WD VVV-C0286 Metal Front Bumper with Stinger and Lights is a purpose-built front-end upgrade for Gelande II Defender D90/D110 configurations. It combines a hand-welded stainless-steel bumper, stainless anti-slip detail, integrated stinger structure and two round light housings in one compact assembly designed around the Gelande II chassis.

STAINLESS-STEEL CONSTRUCTION

RC4WD specifies a stainless steel bumper with a stainless steel anti-slip section, hand-welded construction and a black powder-coated finish. INTEGRATED STINGER

The raised stinger changes both the visual profile and the bumper's contact geometry compared with the standard VVV-C0283 or non-lighted stinger VVV-C0285 versions. Its practical effect depends on obstacle shape, ride height and mounting position, but it creates a more protective forward structure ahead of the Defender grille.

ROUND LIGHT HOUSINGS INCLUDED

RC4WD includes two round lights with VVV-C0286. Treat the supplied pieces as part of the bumper assembly; any LED wiring or powered-light conversion should be planned separately unless specifically supplied with the lighting components being used.

WINCH COMPATIBILITY

RC4WD specifically notes that this bumper only fits the RC4WD 1/10 Mini Warn 9.5cti Winch – Z-E0009. Do not assume fitment with larger Warn-style winches or unrelated winch bodies. Verify fairlead position, spool clearance and cable path before final tightening.

GELANDE II D90 / D110 FITMENT

RC4WD lists compatibility with the Gelande II RTR with 2015 Land Rover Defender D90 Body Set – Z-RTR0065 and the Gelande II Truck 1/10 Scale Builders Kit – Z-K0071. Manufacturer imagery also shows the bumper installed on a Gelande II D110 build. This is a chassis-specific accessory, not a universal 1/10 bumper.

125G FRONT-END MASS

At 125g, the bumper itself is not excessively heavy, but adding the Z-E0009 winch, fairlead, shackles and powered lighting increases sprung mass ahead of the front axle. After installation, check front ride height and spring preload, especially on a scale build already carrying a hard body, interior and other metal accessories.

INSTALLATION CHECKLIST

• Dry-fit the three mount parts before final assembly.
• Center the bumper relative to the grille and fenders.
• Check tire clearance at full steering lock and suspension compression.
• Confirm the stinger clears the body through chassis flex.
• If adding a winch, verify fairlead and cable alignment before tightening.
• Route any lighting wires away from sharp stainless edges and moving links.
• Tighten M1 and M1.4 hardware carefully; these fasteners are small and easy to over-torque.
• Re-check all mounting hardware after the first trail sessions.
• Inspect powder-coated impact areas and touch up exposed metal if the finish is damaged.
