RC4WD BODY LIFT KIT FOR MERCEDES-BENZ AROCS 3348 6X4 TIPPER TRUCK – VVV-C0525

The RC4WD VVV-C0525 Body Lift Kit is a model-specific mounting upgrade for the Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3348 6x4 Tipper Truck. The kit replaces/repositions the relevant body mounting interfaces to raise the body relative to the chassis while retaining a purpose-built, machined installation rather than relying on improvised spacers.

CNC-MACHINED BILLET ALUMINUM

RC4WD specifies billet aluminum, CNC-machined construction and a smooth black anodized finish. The machined brackets provide defined mounting geometry, while the anodized surface gives the components a clean scale appearance and protects the aluminum surface during normal handling and installation.

BODY-LIFT FUNCTION

Manufacturer imagery demonstrates approximately a 10mm increase in body height in the before/after comparison. The lift changes the relationship between the cab/body and chassis rather than changing axle-to-chassis suspension ride height. That distinction matters: a body lift can create additional visual or component clearance without directly increasing differential ground clearance.

WHY BODY POSITION MATTERS

Raising the body can provide additional separation around chassis-mounted components and changes the truck's stance. It also changes the vertical relationship of the cab, bumpers, steps, tanks, fenders and other scale accessories. For that reason, a complete build should be checked as a system after installation rather than assuming every accessory will retain identical alignment.

MODEL-SPECIFIC FITMENT

RC4WD lists this kit specifically for the Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3348 6x4 Tipper Truck. It should not be treated as a universal semi-truck body-lift system. Mount spacing, bracket geometry and body interfaces are application-specific.

69.1G TOTAL KIT WEIGHT

At only 69.1g, the lift hardware itself adds relatively little mass to a large-scale tipper truck. The more important setup change is the raised position of the existing body mass. Moving body mass upward can modestly increase the vehicle's center-of-gravity height, so steering response and side-slope stability should be evaluated after installation, particularly on trucks carrying additional lighting, metal accessories or scale equipment high on the cab.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

  • 1x Body Lift Kit for Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3348 6x4 Tipper Truck

The Mercedes-Benz Arocs truck and any surrounding accessories shown in manufacturer installation photos are not included.

INSTALLATION CHECKLIST

  • Document the original body position and bracket orientation before disassembly.
  • Dry-fit every machined bracket before fully tightening the mounting hardware.
  • Keep left/right body height consistent so the cab does not sit twisted relative to the chassis.
  • Check cab-to-bumper, cab-to-step and fender-to-tire alignment after the lift.
  • Verify wiring to lights and accessories has sufficient slack at the new body height.
  • Inspect hydraulic, electrical or mechanical routing near the body for new interference points.
  • Cycle steering and suspension through their full ranges before operating the truck.
  • Re-check mounting hardware after the first operating session.

WHAT A BODY LIFT DOES NOT DO

This modification should not be confused with a suspension lift. Raising the body does not by itself raise the axles or differential housings farther from the ground. Any improvement in tire/body clearance or component packaging depends on the specific truck configuration, while true under-axle ground clearance remains governed primarily by tire diameter and axle geometry.

GASHEAD RC NOTE

VVV-C0525 is best approached as a precision packaging and stance modification. The CNC-machined brackets make the change clean and repeatable, but the truck should be inspected afterward as a complete assembly because a roughly 10mm body-position change can affect the visual and mechanical alignment of other scale accessories.
