Color & Customization

RC4WD shows the canoe painted in multiple colors, including yellow, red and cyan, demonstrating that the molded body is well suited to custom finishing. For the cleanest result, wash and prep the molded surface before paint and use a plastic-compatible primer and paint system.

Mounting & Compatibility

For the RC4WD Trail Finder 2 LWB with 1980 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ55 Lexan Body Set, RC4WD documents two mounting approaches: the Flat Roof Rack with its matching canoe mount, or the Roof Bar Set with the dedicated Canoe Mount for Roof Bars. For the Vanquish VS4-10 Phoenix, RC4WD specifies the Aluminum Roof Rack for VS4-10 Phoenix together with the matching canoe mount.

GASHEAD RC Setup Note

At roughly 106 g for the complete set, this accessory adds noticeable mass high on the vehicle. For technical crawling, keep additional roof cargo light and mount the canoe as low and securely as the rack system allows. For display and expedition-style builds, the 410 mm length gives it excellent visual scale presence.
