The RC4WD VVV-C1445 Wood Rear Bed with Tool Boxes is a full-length hauler-bed conversion designed specifically for the Traxxas TRX-6 Ultimate RC Hauler. INTEGRATED TOOL BOXES

The package includes two tool boxes integrated into the hauler-bed layout. They reinforce the full-size recovery-truck appearance and give the rear assembly a much more complete equipment-hauler profile than a plain flat deck.

WHEEL STOPS FOR VEHICLE POSITIONING

RC4WD includes two nylon wheel stoppers. On a scale hauler, these establish a visual and mechanical reference for positioning the transported vehicle on the deck. They should not be treated as a substitute for proper tie-downs when carrying a model during aggressive driving, but they help locate the load and reinforce the functional hauler design.

SPARE-TIRE HOLDER

The bed also includes a nylon spare-tire holder with dedicated M4 hardware. A spare mounted at the rear adds useful scale detail, but it also adds mass at the far end of the chassis, so wheel/tire choice can affect rear overhang loading and overall balance.

REAR LIGHTING DETAIL

RC4WD includes one set of taillights with the rear bed. Plan any LED wiring before final installation so the harness can be routed cleanly through the bed structure and kept away from moving suspension components, driveline parts and sharp metal edges.

1.57KG OF REAR-BODY MASS

At 1570g / 55.3oz, this bed is a major chassis-level modification. The assembly adds substantial sprung mass over and behind the rear axle group before a transported RC vehicle, spare tire or additional accessories are added.

After installation, re-check rear suspension sag, spring preload, damping and chassis attitude. A loaded hauler can become significantly rear-biased, especially if the transported vehicle sits far aft on the deck. Keep the carried vehicle as low and as far forward as the bed geometry allows while maintaining safe cab clearance.

The bed is proportioned around that specific platform; universal fitment to other TRX-6 variants or custom 6x6 chassis should not be assumed without checking chassis width, mounting points, wheelbase and rear-body clearance.

INSTALLATION & SETUP CHECKLIST

• Dry-fit the bed before final tightening.
• Confirm the bed sits square to the TRX-6 chassis and clears the rear tires through full suspension travel.
• Route taillight wiring before access becomes restricted.
• Check rear suspension sag after adding the 1.57kg bed.
• Re-evaluate rear spring preload and damping before carrying another RC vehicle.
• Keep transported vehicle mass low and as far forward as practical on the deck.
• Use appropriate restraint/tie-down methods when transporting a vehicle dynamically.

WHY THIS BED CHANGES THE TRUCK

VVV-C1445 is more than a scale accessory.
