RC4WD HYDRAULIC VALVE BLOCK (VERSION 1.5) – VVV-S0026
The RC4WD VVV-S0026 Hydraulic Valve Block Version 1.5 is a precision-machined hydraulic manifold assembly designed for RC4WD's scale heavy-equipment hydraulic system, with direct application to the 1/12 Scale Earth Digger 4200XL Hydraulic Excavator RTR Version 2.0. Its job is to provide a compact, rigid interface for routing hydraulic oil between the pump-side plumbing and multiple actuator circuits through dedicated ports and elbow fittings.

CNC-MACHINED HIGH-PRECISION CONSTRUCTION
RC4WD specifies the VVV-S0026 as a CNC-machined high-precision component. In a hydraulic RC system, machining quality matters because the valve block has to maintain consistent port geometry, sealing surfaces and fitting alignment while handling multiple oil paths in a very compact package.
- Manufacturer: RC4WD
- Part Number: VVV-S0026
- Version: 1.5
- Component Type: Hydraulic valve block / manifold
- Construction: CNC-machined high-precision parts
- Length: 3.15in / 80.23mm
- Width: 2.12in / 53.9mm
- Weight: 14.74oz / 418g

MULTI-PORT HYDRAULIC ROUTING
The block uses multiple threaded ports and included elbow oil nozzles to organize the hydraulic plumbing in a dense space. The supplied fittings include eight M3-4 elbows, two M5-4 elbows and one M5-46 elbow, giving the installer several dedicated connection points for the system plumbing.
The exact function of each circuit depends on the excavator's hydraulic layout, so hose routing should follow the machine's established system configuration rather than being improvised from appearance alone.

WHY FITTING ORIENTATION MATTERS
Elbow fittings are useful in scale machinery because hose bend radius and packaging are limited. Correct fitting orientation can reduce hose kinking, unwanted side load at the port and interference with adjacent components. Before tightening the fittings, mock up the hose paths with the valve block in its installed orientation and confirm that every line can move without rubbing on linkage, frame structure or neighboring hydraulic components.

418G OF SYSTEM HARDWARE
At 418g / 14.74oz, this is a substantial component for a 1/12-scale machine. That mass is consistent with a dense precision-machined hydraulic assembly rather than a lightweight cosmetic accessory. On a heavy-equipment RC platform, secure mounting matters because vibration, chassis movement and hydraulic line tension can all transfer load into the manifold and fittings.

REQUIRED APPLICATION
RC4WD specifically lists the 1/12 Scale Earth Digger 4200XL Hydraulic Excavator RTR Version 2.0 (VV-JD00002) as the required machine application for this valve block.

PRESSURE, FLOW & SYSTEM LIMITS
RC4WD's published VVV-S0026 product specifications do not state a standalone maximum operating pressure or flow rating for the valve block. For that reason, GASHEAD RC does not assign an unverified PSI, MPa or flow specification to this component. System pressure should remain within the limits of the complete RC4WD hydraulic system and its associated pump, relief-valve, hose and fitting configuration.
RC4WD's separate pressure-relief valve for the Earth Digger system is compatible with VVV-S0026, reinforcing that system pressure control belongs to the complete hydraulic circuit rather than being treated as an arbitrary setting at the valve block.

INSTALLATION CHECKLIST
- Confirm the machine is depressurized before disconnecting hydraulic lines.
- Keep fittings, hose ends and open ports clean during installation.
- Verify the M3 and M5 fitting locations before tightening.
- Orient elbow fittings to preserve hose bend radius and avoid side loading.
- Do not overtighten small hydraulic fittings into precision-machined ports.
- Route hoses away from gears, rotating joints, tracks and excavator linkage.
- After assembly, inspect every connection for seepage before operating under load.
- Re-check the manifold mounting screws after the first operating cycles.
WHY THIS COMPONENT MATTERS
In a scale hydraulic excavator, the valve block is one of the central pieces that determines whether the plumbing remains compact, organized and serviceable. A poor hose layout can create kinks, rubbing, loose fittings and inconsistent routing. VVV-S0026 gives the 4200XL system a purpose-built manifold architecture with the correct fittings and mounting hardware for the intended platform.
GASHEAD RC NOTE: Treat this like real hydraulic hardware in miniature. Cleanliness, fitting alignment and hose routing matter. The most expensive mistake here is usually not the block itself—it is contaminating the system, cross-threading a fitting or routing a line where repeated articulation can damage it. Build it clean, route it deliberately and pressure-test the system conservatively.
