RC4WD BREAKER / HAMMER ACCESSORY FOR 1/14 EARTH DIGGER 360L HYDRAULIC EXCAVATOR – YELLOW – VVV-S0245
The RC4WD VVV-S0245 Breaker / Hammer Accessory is a heavy-duty demolition attachment built specifically for the 1/14 Scale RTR Earth Digger 360L Hydraulic Excavator. It combines a stamped-steel working structure with a billet-aluminum breaker casing and an electrically driven impact mechanism designed for scale demolition, compacted-material work and realistic construction-site operation.

HEAVY-DUTY STAMPED STEEL + BILLET ALUMINUM
RC4WD specifies heavy-duty stamped steel construction with the breaker mechanism enclosed in a billet-aluminum casing. The combination provides the rigidity and mass expected from a functional scale breaker while giving the outer housing a precise, robust structure.
- Manufacturer: RC4WD / JDModels
- Part Number: VVV-S0245
- Scale: 1/14
- Attachment Type: Breaker / hammer
- Color: Yellow
- Construction: Heavy-duty stamped steel
- Breaker Casing: Billet aluminum
- Total Weight: 4.62lb / 2.1kg

2.1KG OF ATTACHMENT MASS
At 2.1kg / 4.62lb, this breaker places meaningful mass at the end of the excavator boom and stick. That affects inertia, machine balance and attachment-interface loading. Smooth boom control matters: the breaker should do the impact work rather than relying on swinging mass or boom momentum to strike the material.

3S ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENT
Unlike the blue VVV-S0244 page, RC4WD publishes explicit electrical requirements for the yellow VVV-S0245:
- Battery Specification: 3S
- Operating Voltage Range: 11.1V–12.6V
- Absolute Maximum Voltage: Must not exceed 14V
Use a suitable 3S power source and do not exceed RC4WD's published voltage ceiling. Over-voltage can damage the breaker electronics.

CRITICAL OPERATING NOTE — DO NOT RUN IDLE
RC4WD explicitly warns that the breaker must contact an object before operation. The hammer is not intended to run freely in the air. Running the breaker idle may damage the circuit board. This is one of the most important operating notes for VVV-S0245 and should be treated as a service-life requirement, not merely a recommendation.
EARTH DIGGER 360L-SPECIFIC FITMENT
RC4WD lists VVV-S0245 specifically for the 1/14 Scale RTR Earth Digger 360L Hydraulic Excavator (Yellow) – VV-JD00016. It is not advertised as a universal breaker. Custom installation on another machine would require independent verification of attachment geometry, clearance, electrical supply and control requirements.

DEMOLITION-STYLE WORKING GEOMETRY
The narrow breaker point concentrates impact into a small contact area instead of distributing load across a bucket edge. That makes the tool appropriate for scale demolition, breaking compacted material and simulated concrete or rock work where an excavating bucket is the wrong implement.

OPERATING LOAD & MACHINE BALANCE
Keep the excavator stable and the breaker aligned with the intended working direction. Sustained side-loading can transfer bending load into pins, bushings and attachment interfaces instead of keeping the working force along the tool axis. Avoid using the breaker body as a pry bar or levering against fixed objects.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
- 1x Breaker / Hammer Accessory for 1/14 Scale RTR Earth Digger 360L Hydraulic Excavator – Yellow
The Earth Digger 360L excavator shown in manufacturer photography is for application reference only and is not included.

INSTALLATION & OPERATING CHECKLIST
- Confirm the machine is the compatible VV-JD00016 Earth Digger 360L.
- Use a 3S battery within RC4WD's 11.1–12.6V operating range.
- Never exceed 14V input.
- Do not run the breaker free in the air; ensure the tip is contacting the work surface before activation.
- Inspect attachment pins and mounting points before operation.
- Verify full boom and stick articulation before applying load.
- Keep the breaker aligned with the intended impact direction.
- Avoid side-loading and prying with the breaker housing.
- Stop operation if abnormal looseness, binding or electrical behavior develops.
- Re-check the attachment interface after the first operating cycles.
WHY THE YELLOW VERSION NEEDS ITS OWN SPEC SHEET
VVV-S0245 should not be treated as merely a color variant of VVV-S0244. RC4WD publishes different total weight and explicit electrical/operating requirements for the yellow version. GASHEAD RC therefore documents each SKU independently rather than copying specifications between visually similar products.
GASHEAD RC NOTE: The two rules that matter most here are simple: stay within the published 3S voltage range and never run the breaker idle. Combined with proper alignment and controlled boom movement, those practices do more to protect the electronics and attachment interface than aggressive operation ever will.
