RC4WD REPLACEMENT CAST KNUCKLES FOR YOTA II AXLE V2

The RC4WD Replacement Cast Knuckles for Yota II Axle V2 (Z-A0007) are factory replacement steering knuckles for the current-generation Yota II V2 front axle system. These are not universal knuckles; they are designed around the Yota II V2 axle geometry, bushings, kingpin hardware, XVD shafts, wheel hex position, and steering-link relationship used by RC4WD.

FACTORY STEERING REPLACEMENT COMPONENT

The steering knuckle forms the rotating outer end of the front axle. It carries the stub axle / XVD output and provides the steering-arm interface while pivoting on the axle C-hub or end housing. Because the knuckle controls wheel orientation and bearing alignment, wear or impact damage here can produce looseness, inconsistent toe, rough steering movement, or poor wheel alignment.

  • Part Number: Z-A0007
  • Application: RC4WD Yota II Ultimate Scale Cast Axle V2 front axle system
  • Component Type: Cast steering knuckles
  • Purpose: Direct replacement / axle rebuild / steering service
  • Related Axle: Yota II Ultimate Scale Cast Axle V2 Front – Z-A0080

WHY CORRECT KNUCKLE GEOMETRY MATTERS

On a scale solid axle, the knuckle determines where the wheel pivots relative to the axle shaft and steering link. Using the correct factory component preserves the steering geometry RC4WD designed into the Yota II V2 system and helps maintain proper XVD articulation, wheel-hex position, and linkage alignment.

WHEN TO REPLACE THE KNUCKLES

  • Visible cracks or impact damage
  • Excessive play at the knuckle bushings or pivot points
  • Stripped or damaged steering-arm mounting points
  • Binding or uneven steering after axle damage
  • Complete Yota II V2 front axle rebuild

RELATED SERVICE PARTS

RC4WD supports the Yota II V2 front axle with dedicated replacement hardware, knuckle bushings, XVD shafts, front axle housing, third member, differential cover, bearing kit, and gear options. When replacing the knuckles, inspect these surrounding components at the same time so worn bushings or bent axle shafts do not compromise the new parts.

INSTALLATION CHECK

Before final tightening, verify smooth knuckle movement through the complete steering range. Check for axial play, make sure the XVD rotates freely at full steering lock, and confirm the steering link is not forcing the knuckle beyond its natural stop. Re-check hardware after the first run.

GASHEAD RC NOTE: Knuckles are one of those parts that can make an axle feel completely worn out even when the gears are fine. If the wheel has slop or the steering no longer tracks cleanly, restoring the factory pivot points is the right place to start.
