The RC4WD Yota Ultimate Scale Cast Front Axle (Z-A0058) is a first-generation Yota scale axle designed for 1/10 trucks where realistic housing proportions matter just as much as drivetrain strength. Its compact offset differential housing, rounded steering knuckles, and cast-metal construction give it a distinctly full-size appearance while retaining the durability needed for trail and scale-crawler use.

WHY THE YOTA AXLE IS DIFFERENT

The Yota platform was built around scale realism. The compact pumpkin helps keep the housing visually proportional, while the rounded knuckles and lower mounting arrangement mimic the appearance and packaging of full-size truck axles more closely than a generic crawler housing. The lower mounts also allow flexible shock placement depending on the chassis configuration.

DRIVETRAIN & TRAIL PERFORMANCE

The 2.67:1 ring-and-pinion reduction works with the vehicle transmission and transfer-case ratios to produce final crawl gearing. Hardened steel spool gears provide a locked axle configuration for consistent traction at both front wheels, while full ball-bearing support reduces friction and helps keep gear alignment stable under load.

SERVICE & UPGRADE OPTIONS

The Z-A0058 platform supports replacement housing, shafts, third-member components, knuckles, bearing kits, ring-and-pinion gears, XVD shafts, 4-link mounts, U-bolts, wheel wideners, and matching rear Yota axle components. That makes it practical for restoration work even when only one section of the axle needs service.

FITMENT / BUILD NOTES

This is the first-generation Yota cast front axle, not the later Yota II version. Confirm the exact axle generation before ordering replacement shafts, knuckles, portal parts, or other internal components. RC4WD has used Z-A0058 across Trail Finder and Gelande-related applications, but chassis installation still depends on mounts, links, leaf springs, and driveshaft geometry.
