A compact 95.5 mm scale tire with a narrow 36 mm profile and RC4WD's Advanced X3 Soft compound. The Prowler XS 1.9" is aimed at trail trucks and crawlers where realistic proportions, steering clearance, and controlled tire size matter more than simply fitting the tallest rubber available. Each package contains two tires and two foam inserts; a complete four-wheel truck requires two packages.

RC4WD notes that this tire's outer diameter is 7.5 mm smaller than its referenced “original tires,” but the current manufacturer page does not identify that baseline. Use the verified 95.5 mm measurement for fitment decisions.
WHAT THE SIZE MEANS IN PRACTICE
Engineering interpretation: compared with a tall 4.5–4.8-inch crawler tire, the Prowler XS places less rubber inside the fender opening and may reduce body contact during steering and articulation. The smaller diameter also changes ground clearance and effective gearing. Final results depend on axle width, wheel offset, suspension travel, body shape, foam support, vehicle weight, and terrain.
Measure the existing tire and compare it directly with the 95.5 × 36 mm envelope. Check clearance at full steering lock and with the suspension fully compressed on each side.
WHEEL AND TREAD PROPORTIONS
The official studio photographs show the Prowler XS on several 1.9" wheel styles, making its relatively narrow casing and moderate sidewall height easy to compare. Wheels shown in every image are examples only and are not included.
TREAD DESIGN
The official images show a directional-looking chevron layout, staggered center blocks, open channels, and pronounced shoulder lugs. Visually, it fits classic trail trucks, military builds, compact crawlers, and scale utility vehicles without the exaggerated height of competition-oriented tires. Actual traction depends on surface, foam setup, vehicle weight, compound temperature, and driving technique.
VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY
RC4WD specifically lists the Gmade Sawback as a fitment application. RC4WD also states that the tire is designed for RC4WD wheels and other manufacturers' 1.9" wheels, while separately warning that cross-brand results cannot be guaranteed because tire-bead and wheel designs vary.
Practical rule: treat 1.9" as the starting point, not the complete answer. Verify bead shape, channel width, internal beadlock-ring geometry, foam placement, and even bead seating before final tightening.

INSTALLATION CHECKLIST
- Confirm the wheel is a compatible 1.9" design.
- Center each included foam inside the tire without folds or twists.
- Seat both tire beads evenly in the wheel channel or beadlock system.
- Start every beadlock fastener by hand and tighten gradually in a cross pattern.
- Inspect both beads around the full 360 degrees before final tightening.
- Verify body, steering, link, shock, and inner-fender clearance through full suspension travel.

The Prowler XS is the sensible choice when a build needs a sub-100 mm tire, a narrow scale stance, and the softer X3 compound. Confirm the exact wheel system, then order two packages for a standard four-wheel vehicle. Sometimes the right tire is the one that actually clears the body—revolutionary concept, apparently.
