The RC4WD Raceline Monster Z-W0193 combines CNC-machined billet-aluminum construction, a four-piece beadlock design and realistic scale hex hardware in a fully black finish. RC4WD developed this version around the Axial Wraith’s standard 12 mm hex interface, while retaining dimensions suitable for other carefully verified 2.2-inch applications.

Exact SKU: Z-W0193 Black. This listing is for one set of four black wheels. Z-W0174 and Z-W0195 Black/Silver are separate products with different finishes and, in some cases, different published dimensions or hardware. Their specifications are not substituted here.

FITMENT AND TIRE COMPATIBILITY

RC4WD designed the wheel with the Axial Wraith in mind and states that its hex hub works with the Wraith’s stock hex hub. The standard 12 mm hex specification does not guarantee universal installation: verify axle-thread engagement, hub depth, steering-link clearance, portal or knuckle clearance, body clearance and full suspension travel on the actual vehicle.

  • RC4WD confirms fitment with Pit Bull Rock Beast II Scale 2.2 RC tires.
  • RC4WD shows the wheels installed with Mickey Thompson 2.2 Baja Claw TTC Scale tires, Z-T0065, as an example. Tires and foams are not included.
  • RC4WD offers Z-S1341 internal beadlock rings specifically for improved compatibility with certain Pro-Line 2.2 tire beads. These rings are optional and sold separately.
  • Compatibility with third-party tires is not guaranteed by RC4WD because bead diameter, thickness and carcass construction vary between brands and models.

OFFSET AND CLEARANCE — READ BEFORE ORDERING

RC4WD publishes a substantial 13.7 mm negative offset for Z-W0193. Offset conventions and measurement references can be described differently across RC manufacturers, so treat this as the manufacturer’s published value and compare the physical wheel dimensions to your current setup. Expect offset to affect track width, scrub radius, steering clearance and body coverage. A 12 mm hex alone is not enough to confirm fitment.

INSTALLATION CHECKLIST

  1. Confirm the SKU is Z-W0193 and compare the 56.5 mm OD, 29.5 mm width and published negative offset against the intended chassis.
  2. Verify that the axle uses a compatible standard 12 mm hex and provides sufficient thread engagement after the wheel is seated.
  3. Inspect the tire beads and select the correct internal ring before final assembly.
  4. Seat both tire beads evenly and start every fastener by hand.
  5. Tighten beadlock hardware gradually in an alternating cross pattern. RC4WD does not publish a torque value on the current product page; use the supplied hand tool carefully and do not overtighten the miniature hardware.
  6. Rotate each completed wheel by hand and cycle steering and suspension through their full range to check for contact.
  7. Reinspect wheel nuts and beadlock hardware after the first run.

GASHEAD RC BUILD NOTE

This is the wheel for a builder who wants genuine licensed detail and a noticeably wide, aggressive stance—not a generic black 2.2 rim. Measure before ordering, particularly on portal axles, narrow bodies and steering setups with tight rod-end clearance. The published dimensions are the reliable starting point; “it has a 12 mm hex” is only the beginning of the fitment conversation.
